The F40 was announced in 1987 as a 40th-anniversary car for Ferrari. The F40. which was the fastest car in the world at the time. became very popular as the last car that founder Enzo Ferrari was involved in.
A total of 1.311 cars were produced. far exceeding the initial plan. and it boasted outstanding recognition even in Japan at the time.
Since the F40. Ferrari's high-end models have been announced as Speciale. but the original F40 is particularly popular.
The F40 is a car that remains in Ferrari's history in Japan and is an icon of the late 1980s and 1990s.
It was the first Ferrari to be commercialized as a TLV. but this time we will be commercializing the specification equipped with a sliding side window.
We also created new parts for the exhaust system. which is almost straight. to recreate an image closer to that of the F40 when it was first released.
