Textile: American vintage denim basically comes in two thicknesses. Starting with 501. there is the 5-pocket type around 13 oz. and the light oz. denim around 10 oz. This "MAGGIO" is a series that faithfully reproduces the US military light oz. denim from the 1940s. In order to give it a rougher look. the raw fabric is processed into a product. which is risky. As the ounce becomes lighter. the thread naturally becomes thinner and the impact of the fabric tends to be halved. If the fabric is further sanforized. it will have a demure and cheap look. Even such fabric will have a certain vintage feel after 100 years of wear. but if it is processed using a washing machine. I think this is a must. From every aspect. the unevenness of the warp threads. the degree of nep. and the overall thickness. it is the most complete US military vintage reproduction denim.
Design: Based on the deck work trousers. commonly known as "wrapped pants". which are legendary denim pants of the US NAVY in the 1940s. The Italian Navy also has famous pants with no side seams. but I would like to ask the people involved while they are still alive why the Navy is so particular about side seams. If the waist is a drawstring and it is like a one-size overpants. I think there is an advantage in maximizing the fabric width. but the Navy basically likes tight fitting. so I have no idea what the advantage of no side seams is. If it is effective. I think it would be good for the ARMY to adopt it as well. This time. I washed these wrapped pants with a target of the used feel of my 1930s overalls. and lightly splashed paint on them. In order to increase the artistic level of this paint. the same white is divided into several stages. the concentration of the cracking material is changed. and the splashing and washing process is done in several stages. This creates a sense of the passage of time on the surface.
