C.C.Y.M.B.Q. (COMPUTER CONTROLLED YOUNG MAN BLUES QUINTET) A five-piece blues rock band formed in 2010 by Louisiana-born Maddie Sweet (guitar). The band started out as "THE YOUNG MAN BLUES QUINTET". but after multiple member changes. they are now active as a synthesizer-focused techno unit "C.C.Y.M.B.Q." When they first formed. they gained popularity for their authentic style influenced by Chicago blues like Magic Sam and Buddy Guy. but their current style was heavily influenced by the sound of the KORG polyphonic analog synthesizer "PS-3100" that they inherited from Maddie's father.
