The material is a canvas made with 70/30 rayon/linen (10/1) warp and weft threads. The rayon-rich material gives it a soft feel. drape. and drape that is completely different from cotton canvas. The 30% linen tightens the fabric. giving it a firm. resilient texture even in its softness. The large panel print/dyestone is used to give the motif sharp edges. The rough. slightly thick rayon/linen material has a similar look to the canvas used in paintings and the softness of rayon.
